What your day might look like:

  • Work with owner and Kent team to ensure a seamless project for the owner from beginning to end
  • Support estimating efforts as needed to facilitate success of the estimating team
  • Execute a complete, thorough hand off with the project estimator to ensure that all pieces of the projects are completely understood
  • Create the schedule for each project and match talent to the job with consultations from Vice President of Operations
  • Process change orders – manage the change in the field, communicate the additional cost, process the paperwork and ensure the return/tracking of the change order
  • Prepare submittals and review before submitting to design/ownership team for approval
  • Conduct meetings on-site with architect, client and construction crew. Project manager is the point for all field staff on jobs and responsible for their knowledge of the project and capability of executing
  • Project manager is responsible for requesting manpower from the Vice President of Operations. Project Manager is responsible for instructing the crews’ day to day activities on the job
  • Negotiate with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors as necessary and maintain excellent relationships
  • Prepare monthly invoices to owner
  • Participation in frequent meetings with the team schedules, project costs, change order status, etc.)
  • Project manager to manage job costs and review financial performance
  • Continually keeps supervisors and project owners updated on job progress/performance
  • Follow safety protocols in conformance with project specific requirements and OSHA/federal regulations
